From an energy user perspective, this solution allows to:

•  have all together a real time and an historical overview on all energy related factors
•  reduce the energy bill (optimization)
•  manage real time alarms through SMS when any kind of threshold is exceeded
•  manage and compare similar data from multiple sites
•  react before a given factor becomes critical (i.e. generates extra costs or penalties)

The solution is composed of:

•  different type of data logging/acquisition instruments (sensors, sub-metering power meters, power quality instruments, etc…)
•  the eWON Programmable Internet Router (PIR), including embedded internet server and modem (PSTN or GSM)
