The eWON is the first Programmable Industrial Router (PIR) build on Internet technology. It has been designed and is manufactured by ACT'L to manage remote technical data.

The eWON allows to browse remote data through the internet, to send reports or messages by email, FTP, SMS, SNMP, etc. It performs both the local datalogging and the router function. It enables full connectivity of TCP/IP towards industrial devices such as PLC's, test & measurement equipment, camera systems, analysers, industrial refrigerators, etc… using Modbus, Unitelway and other protocols.
